Training

Through its training, RIMA (E.A) Limited aims to strengthen the capacity and capability of health and health-related professionals and institutions. Health services cannot function without a sufficient number of skilled, motivated and supported health workers. Yet, estimates suggest that Africa needs one million more health workers in order to meet the Millennium Development Goals for health.Every year Rima (E.A) Limited trains more than 900 community health workers who bring health care closer to people’s homes in some of Africa’s most marginalized regions. We also train doctors, nurses, community midwives, clinical officers, laboratory technicians and pharmacists.Our training takes place in communities, health centres and hospitals in Uganda. in form of Continuous medical education (CME).

Through the African Union initiative for innovative technology aimed at improving the livelihood of Africans, Rima carries out  Continuous medical education (CME) to a number of clinicians on the latest medical technology.
